RhoDeo 2024 Re Up 243

Hello, something went wrong yesterday, i posted a file that wasn't updated with links, bizarre, clearly my mind was elsewhere.. But then i get visitors like Chrisz who manages to post 7 requests but none viable as all had been re upped the previous 12 months, a condition that is clearly stated on this page.

Here at Rho-xs visitor numbers have been stable but i did notice a big rise in re-up requests which points to my visitors spending more time at Rho-Xs (glad to be at service). Alas over the years i've lost access to a number of disks, specially the loss of my Aetix and Roots collection hinders my capability to re-up. Obviously the torrent world offers a solution, but this scene is dynamic and suffers the same fate as my posts , the hosts delete the file when demand has dropped, in the torrent world this even worse. Unfortunately this means whilst bigger names get revived the more obscure tend to completely disappear, a fate that is suffered by roots artists as an example Salif Keita a relative big name is nowhere to be found in flac these days (just one album) when a few years ago there were many titles to be had. Same goes for many a reggae artist and even in Aetix the choice of what is on offer is diminishing day by day. I'm doing my best to fulfill requests but it's difficult and in the future i will request you my visitor to give back the odd title that you downloaded via Rho-xs and repost it here.

13 correct requests for this week , 1 double and 1 too early,  4 confused=people requesting at the wrong place, whatever another batch of 43 re-ups (13.3 gig)

These days i'm making an effort to re-up, it will satisfy a smaller number of people which means its likely the update will  expire relatively quickly again as its interest that keeps it live. Nevertheless here's your chance ... asks for re-up in the comments section at the page where the expired link resides, or it will be discarded by me. ....requests are satisfied on a first come first go basis. ...updates will be posted here remember to request from the page where the link died! To keep re-ups interesting to my regular visitors i will only re-up files that are at least 12 months old (the older the better as far as i am concerned), and please check the previous update request if it's less then a year old i won't re-up either.

Looka here , requests fulfilled up to June 5th... N'Joy

RhoDeo 2024 America Before 3

Hello, the internet has caused cracks to appear in the image those cowed archaeologists had upheld the century before and Graham Hancock but the boot in in his eloquent way in America Before - The Key to Earth’s Lost Civilization the audiobook i will post the coming weeks read by the man himself. But wait there's more Robert A. Monroe takes you on a guided trip the coming months to developing, exploring and applying expanded states of awareness. I'd  say a great way to spend the freetime corona delivers. And in the meantime i will keep trying to convince you that current astrophysics is producing nothing but pretty computer graphics and fantastical nonsense on par with Disney sci-fi and needless to say starving the Electric Universe people of funds to be able to blow all that nonsense, that has been produced this last century by established astrophysics, out of the water. These people don't care about truth only their next paycheck , lets face it most established sciences are dead or codified like the medieval Catholic Church. The only 'moving' sciences are computer and bio-genetic but then these are young sciences. This stranglehold of the past ignorance must be broken. The Electric Universe Theory is an excellent candidate to break the deadlock.

Hancock's thesis is based on the previously widely criticized Younger Dryas impact hypothesis, which proposes that the Younger Dryas climate event was caused by one or more large comets striking the Earth around 10,800 BC. Hancock argues that this caused widespread destruction, with a short-term return to Ice Age conditions followed by massive flooding that altered the continental landscape. Specifically, he claims that coastal civilizations in and around the Atlantic Ocean, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Ocean were destroyed by rising sea levels. He argues that this was the origin of various flood myths around the world, and that "what we think of as human history is merely the record of human events that have transpired since the last, great planetary catastrophe.

Vesta contains millions of micro-spherules.

On September 27, 2007 NASA launched the Dawn spacecraft on a voyage to the asteroid Vesta. Scientific observations began on July 17, 2011 and then came to an end on September 5, 2012. Dawn then fired-up its ion thruster engine and headed toward Ceres. Dawn entered the gravity field of Ceres at a distance of 61,000 kilometers at 7:39 AM EST on Friday, March 6, 2015 where it continues in orbit, and will remain for more than 50 years.

There are craters more than 50 kilometers in diameter on Vesta, even though it is a mere 564 kilometers by 531 kilometers. There is a particularly large crater near Vesta’s south pole that is 460 kilometers wide. As mentioned in previous Pictures of the Day, with such large impacts, it is remarkable that the asteroid was not blown to bits, particularly since the crater is about 13 kilometers deep, with an 18 kilometer high central peak. According to a recent press release, data from the Dawn mission suggests that Vesta, rather than achieving its scarred condition in the initial protoplanetary nebula that gave rise to the Solar System, was hit by other asteroids and micro-meteors after it was already solidified.

A close examination of Vesta’s surface casts doubt on the notion that its large crater was created by an object smashing into it, especially since some of the smaller craters share walls that are thin and undisturbed by blast effects. Newtonian impacts should form dish-shaped holes with a blanket of blast debris surrounding the rims, sorted from largest to smallest particles. Vesta reveals a different kind of landscape. Its craters are clean and most are found in collections, as if a shotgun blast struck it. In an Electric Universe, shallow craters with overlapping rims are important considerations in the theory of electrical effects. Planetary scientists ignore electrical explanations, which rectify the anomalies in other theories, because they know almost nothing about plasma and electric charge movement in space. Electricity can create the very things they are sending out probes to study. Theories that invoke meteor impacts, landslides and other familiar geological forces, ignore an electrically dynamic Solar System in its formative phases.

Electrical theory sees plasma discharges in the steeply carved cliffs on Vesta; features that are not easily explained by impacts. There are long canyons and furrows, some of which are ten kilometers wide, cut into the equator. A closer examination shows that those trenches (no matter what size) are chains of craters. Asteroid formation does not require that one object smash into another one for there to be craters. Electric arcs can scoop out material, accelerate it into space, and leave behind deep pits. They tend not to disturb the surroundings, so they are used in industrial applications to finely machine metal parts. Based on laboratory analysis, that is what has occurred on Vesta: spark discharge erosion.

For more than a decade, among the individuals exploring the concepts of an Electric Universe, a community has arisen which is devoted to exploring the surface of planet Earth. The geological processes of an Electric Universe go well beyond the theoretical toolkit in standard geology. Laboratory experiments involving electrical discharge to solid surfaces reveal familiar features seen on every rocky body in the solar system, including our home planet.

For a number of years, a variety of independent investigators have participated in regular group expeditions in the American Southwest, gathering evidence and developing analyses based on their observations. Robert Hawthorne Jr. is a significant and active contributor to the Electric Universe Geology group. During EU2017: Future Science, the Thunderbolts conference held in Phoenix that August, his Ongoing Exhibit, “Ejecta From Upheaval Dome, Utah”, was a Peer-to-Peer Sharing feature of the Breakout salon. In part one of this two part presentation, Robert offers his analysis on what may be one of the best candidates for an electrical scarring feature on Earth — the so-called Upheaval Dome in Canyonlands National Park in Utah.

Was an advanced civilization lost to history in the global cataclysm that ended the last Ice Age? Graham Hancock, has made it his life’s work to find out — and in America Before he draws on the latest archaeological and DNA evidence to bring his quest to a stunning conclusion.

Hancock’s research takes us on a series of journeys and encounters with the scientific rebels responsible for the recent extraordinary breakthroughs. In the process, from the Mississippi Valley to the Amazon rainforest, he reveals that ancient ‘New World’ cultures share a legacy of advanced scientific knowledge and sophisticated spiritual beliefs with supposedly unconnected ‘Old World’ cultures.

Have archaeologists focussed for too long only on the ‘Old World’ in their search for the origins of civilization while failing to consider the revolutionary possibility that those origins might in fact be found in the ‘New World’?

America Before: The Key to Earth’s Lost Civilisation is the culmination of everything that millions of readers have loved in Hancock’s body of work over the past decades, namely a mind-dilating exploration of the mysteries of the past, amazing archaeological discoveries and profound implications for how we lead our lives today.

A few of the revelations from the book:

We were taught in school that the Americas were the last of the great landmasses of the Earth to be inhabited by humans – who were thought to have arrived exclusively on foot from northeast Asia around 13,000 years ago by crossing the Bering Straits which formed a land-bridge to Alaska during the lowered sea-levels of the Ice Age. By contrast, anatomically modern humans, originating in Africa, are believed to have reached Europe, Asia, and even Australia, as far back as 60,000 years ago.

Since the recent publication in Nature of landmark research in southern California scientists have begun to realise that something of immense importance is missing from this long-established picture. Though the general public have not been kept well informed, it now appears that the Americas were first peopled at least 130,000 years ago – many tens of thousands of years before human settlements became established elsewhere. Yet because of the dominance of the former – and now entirely discredited – theory of the late peopling of the Americas, and of mental blocks associated with that theory, archaeologists continue to focus only on the ‘Old World’ in their search for the origins of civilization and have not considered the revolutionary possibility that those origins might in fact be found in the ‘New World’.

Certain tribes of the Amazon rainforest are closely related to Australian Aborigines and to Melanesians from Papua New Guinea. This extraordinary, unexpected and extremely ancient DNA signal is only present in South America and is completely absent in North America and Mesoamerica. It bears witness to something that archaeologists hitherto believed to be impossible – that the technology and skills needed to cross the Pacific Ocean, and successfully resettle a reproductively-viable population, existed more than 13,000 years ago.

Such secrets of human prehistory, now revealed by cutting-edge science, call for a complete rethink of our understanding of our own remote past and hint at the existence of a lost civilization of the Ice Age.

Astonishing similarities exist between the spiritual beliefs of the ancient Egyptians, as manifested in their Books of the Dead, and the spiritual beliefs of the mound-builder cultures of the Mississippi Valley – as manifested, for example, at Moundville in Alabama, Cahokia in Illinois and Watson Brake in Louisiana. Hitherto written off as ‘coincidental’ by archaeologists, the new investigation presented in America Before confirms that the parallels are very real. The deep and explicit details, imagery and beliefs, shared by these two supposedly unconnected religious systems can no longer be dismissed as coincidence. Nor are they the result of direct ‘diffusion’ of culture from ancient Egypt to ancient North America, or vice versa. Challenging our entire understanding of prehistory, what the evidence points to instead is a shared legacy of sophisticated ideas concerning the mystery of life and death inherited more than 13,000 years ago, in both the ‘Old’ World and the ‘New’, from an advanced predecessor civilization as yet unidentified by archaeologists.

South America’s Amazon rainforest has long been regarded as pristine jungle, unpeopled until less than a thousand years ago and thereafter inhabited only by ‘primitive’ tribes of hunter gatherers.

America Before, comprehensively refutes this picture with a thorough investigation of the latest scientific evidence.

Far from an untouched wilderness, the book reveals the Amazon to be a vast ‘garden’, very precisely shaped and moulded by humans for more than 13,000 years. It’s early inhabitants possessed advanced scientific knowledge concerning the molecular properties of plants – evident in concoctions such as the visionary brew ayahuasca and the nerve poison curare. Those first peoples of the Amazon were also the creators of a ‘miracle earth’ – terra preta –still capable of rejuvenating much younger infertile soils when it is added to them today.

Thanks to scanning technologies such as LIDAR, and because of the tragic ongoing clearances of old-growth rainforest to make way for cattle ranches, we now know that great cities once existed in the Amazon, their populations supported by the immense agricultural productivity of terra preta.

We know, too, that in ancient times there were people here who possessed and deployed sophisticated geometrical and astronomical skills to create immense earthworks, many with footprints larger than that of the Great Pyramid of Egypt.

America Before reveals the true extent and significance of these vast, newly-discovered Amazonian ‘geoglyphs’, their stunning resemblance to the equally grand and mysterious earthworks of Ohio, such as Serpent Mound, and the Newark and High Bank works, and connections to other geometrical and astronomical monuments as far afield as Stonehenge in England and Angkor in Cambodia.

Again, what the evidence points to is a shared legacy of knowledge inherited from a much earlier civilization that has been lost to history.

For some decades it has been generally accepted that a global cataclysm occurred around 12,800 years ago at the onset of a mysterious period of earth changes and climate instability known to geologists as the Younger Dryas. Since 2007 a group of more than 60 scientists, publishing in leading peer-reviewed journals, have presented evidence linking the cataclysm to a disintegrating comet that crossed the orbit of the earth 12,800 years ago and bombarded our planet with a ‘swarm’ of fragments, some more than a kilometre in diameter.

Though compelling, with new corroborative studies published every year, the comet hypothesis remains controversial and a number scientists favour other explanations. What all are agreed on, however, is that a global cataclysm did indeed occur.

America Before reveals that the epicentre of the cataclysm lay in North America, then still in the grip of the Ice Age with much of the northern half of the continent covered in ice a mile deep. An immense flood was unleashed as large sectors of the ice cap suddenly melted. From the Channelled Scablands of the state of Washington, via the gigantic pot-holes lining the Saint Croix River in Minnesota, to the Finger Lakes of upstate New York, a huge swathe of North America was swept clean by this deluge. At the same time global sea-level rose, the Gulf Stream was stopped in its tracks and the world was plunged into a deep-freeze that lasted 1,200 years.

It was the end of the former age of the earth, the Pleistocene, and the beginning of our own epoch, the Holocene. In the transition, America Before reveals that an advanced civilization, hitherto the stuff of myth and legend, was lost to history.

Sundaze 2024

Hello, final visit to the work of Alio Die this 8th visit comprises some of his work with others. N'Joy some more

Today's Artist is Stefano Musso who began recording music under the pseudonym of Alio Die in 1989. "Alio Die" is Latin for "another day", used as a greeting in Roman times as a positive look towards a better tomorrow......N'Joy

xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx

Stefano Musso studied art and electronics in his home town of Milan, Italy,  and began performing  ambient, electro-acoustic music under the name Alio Die in 1989. Characterized by evocative acoustic sounds manipulated and tendered electronically, Alio Die's work builds intimate soundscapes tied to the mystery and majesty of life and nature. His first CD "Under an Holy Ritual", released on his label Hic Sunt Leones in 1992 and re-released on Projekt in 1993, was received with international acclaim. Enthusiastically received in his home country, 'Holy Ritual' expanded Musso's international presence significantly in 1993 when it was licensed by the popular U.S. darkwave label Projekt. His music is a shadowy, cavernous, intensely detailed fusion of acoustical elements, step-and-repeat sample treatments, sparse, echoing percussion, and deep, atmospheric sound design, playing ambient's static tendencies off of shifting melodic and textural passages that suggest movement without sacrificing the music's vague, entropic formlessness.   He subsequently released more than 25 CDs, and collaborated  with many well-known artists such as Robert Rich, Vidna Obmana, Mathias Grassow, Nick Parkin, Yannick Dauby,  Amelia Cuni, Raffaele Serra, Ora, Antonio Testa.

"Natural and acoustic sounds and selected noises, electronically treated and reworked, are integrated in a meditative and spiritual context that often, in the feeling, becomes close to a prayer. Visible static, this music is rich of hidden sounds, layers of elements to discover at each listening. Alio Die's music, in the consciousness space that creates, it's a melting of technology and mysticism, like a new ritual with echoes of a medioeval time, deep and grounded in introspection."

and as this bio is rather limited here's an interview he did in 2008

2008 intervew by Tobias Fischer, he is editor-in-chief of tokafi, publisher of 15 Questions and a cultural editor for Germany's biggest Printmag on Recording, „Beat“.

Hi! How are you? Where are you?
I’m fine, moving at a good point.

What’s your view on the music scene at present? Is there a crisis?
If you mean the music business, yes it is in a kind of crisis... We know the reasons about that, downloads from the internet mainly. Less people buy original cds and more and more people copy. I’s happening to experimental and non commercial music, too, where listener were usually more motivated to buy the real cd. So we see that sales are strongly in decline and lots of shops and distributors have had to close down and cease their activities after many years.

On the other hand, the number of releases is still growing a lot, so the crisis it is not at all on the artistic activity side. With this in mind, I try to optimize the quality of the cd releases with digipack artworks and limited editions of 300 copies. The possibility of getting information quicker and exchange it is a good input to creativity, expecially for people which before lived in a kind of isolation from the rest of the world where they thought the things happened.

What, would you say, are the factors of your creativity? What “inspires” you?
My creativity derives from my special feeling about reality. Perhaps it is that what is forbidden and missing in our dayly life, which inspires me, it is a kind of ‘nostalgic’ feeling in a purified way, without the emotional aspect. I can find inspiration in nature or through observing life itself, or from other music and cultures as well. I’m intersted in disclosing the magic of the present moment in multilayered feelings of a simple complexity. The medicine must work on myself first, but the mixture must be usefull to everybody confronted with that listening experience, so I try to build up something not too personal, and perfectly tuned. I also aim at expressing the circularity of time, to find a point of view that is beyond time.

How would you describe your method of composing?
Taking inspiration from a kind of symbolic language through which I’ve found access to its code, I combine and decorate feelings by different sound elements, then add some random elements born from the present moment.

The process includes improvisation in the sessions with acoustic instruments and objects, but then the sounds are mixed in an accurate way and not so much things are left out.. I let Intuition guide random elements like synchronisation between layers and filters for example. I usually start experimenting with tunings derived from acoustic recordings and field recordings and then treat the sounds in my studio. I also like to sample in a creative way. By this I mean transforming the original source into something different...

How do you see the relationship between sound and composition?
In my music, the qualities of sound and composition are very closely aligned. Some melodical elements are also a part of it, but the more important thing is the right relation between all the ingredients of the music, tunes and vibes coming together to create a new creature ready to work with moods and states of consciousness of the listener.

How strictly do you separate improvising and composing?
Improvisations are usually directed to find a natural feeling that is not yet music, but sometimes it is a ‘controlled’ improvisation by special tunings already decided before. In any case, in the improvisational process I try to capture the feeling of the moment. This is already part of the composition, as it will help to give direction to the entire process of the recordings.

What does the term „new“ mean to you in connection with music?
Something new is something that brings together different elements for the first time, or old elements combined in a new way.

There is nothing new at all, I think usually we transform differents inputs and styles into a new language that come from our personal sensibility and creativity. Creativity must surely be fresh and new everytime, but personally, I like the ancient and the mysterious knowledge that comes from the past, as I don’t belive in any kind of ‘evolution’... In our era, to speak about devolution it actually more correct.

Do you personally enjoy multimedia as an enrichment or do you feel that it is leading away from the essence of what you want to achieve?
I personally enjoy a creative use of new technology. The point is not to agree or disagree with a new way of entertainment, but in the way we use it.

What constitutes a good live performance in your opinion? What’s your approach to performing on stage?
I don’t play live often. This is due to the fact that it is not possible replicating the works I create in the studio in a concert situation. So I tried to adapt some part of acoustical inserts and improvisations with real instruments with the looped electronic effects already embedded into basic sounds. I played live performances few times with Opium and with Zeit on the last two occasions.

I used also a support of a video with beautiful morphings of paintings by Yanusz Gilewicz, and kaleidoscopic mandalas images by Alessandro Vittorio(Ozis) and the results was wonderful.

Do you feel an artist has a certain duty towards anyone but himself? Or to put it differently: Should art have a political/social or any other aspect apart from a personal sensation?
Absolutely. I don’t take care of political/ social matter at all, but in any case I think the muse of art should guide one in some way, giving inspiration to new possibilities in cultural and human aspects. Apart  from entertainment, this is a basic meaning and primary reason for music that can build bridges towards different levels of consciousness. If the work of an artist, apart from his originality, is totally disconnected from this important duty, it is totally devoid of any meaning and it is only self-celebratory.

How, would you say, could non-mainstream forms of music reach wider audiences without sacrificing their soul?
In our times there is no risk of becoming too popular with this music or of become commercial- At least not for me... It does happen sometimes with other kinds of ”Ambient” music but still very rarely.

You are given the position of artistic director of a festival. What would be on your program?
Medieval-pagan music like Faun, Daemonia Nimphe, In Gowan Ring for the afternoon, Jack or Jive, Amelia Cuni and Terry Riley, evening and Robert Rich, all night long.

Many artists dream of a “magnum opus”. Do you have a vision of what yours would sound like?
Usually it is the last music released.. But in this case more than usually it is my last album AURA SEMINALIS. You must know that I considered Opus Magnum as the title to this one (I later rejected it for being too obvious..). By the way my Opus magnum will be researched again and looped again later, it is a work still in progress...

Known mostly for his solely instrumental work, Stefano Musso (aka Alio Die) has collaborated from time to time with vocalists, understandably seeking singers who will blend in with his post-ambient/space rock constructions rather than jarringly stand out from them. The three-song Eleusian Lullaby is one of these efforts, featuring fellow Italian Martina Galvagni throughout; her clean, beautiful keen either sits gently down in the mix or rises along with it in a soft swell, perhaps best heard on "A Drone Song for Alienor," which in both title and general impact almost feels like an homage to the Elven songs and orchestrations done by Howard Shore for The Lord of the Rings movies. The title track is, if anything, an extension of the same feeling if a little less overtly alien, thanks to Galvagni's vocals being a touch more upfront while losing none of their mystery. Opening cut "The Ontroid Sleep" is in its own way the odd one out, but only just, with an overt if very understated rhythmic structure not as apparent on the other cuts, where a regular chime and guitar combination provides calm propulsion to the song and Galvagni's performance. If Eleusian Lullaby is "just" another Alio Die album in some respects, Galvagni's contributions give it an individual air, and the whole is a worthy listen.

Slow waves of sound flow suggestive of psycho-acoustic energy come with peripheral fragments of sonorities, carried on the wind, drifting as if at the edges of sleep. From opener "Cumulus Congestus" (heaps of cloud masses) to "Cirrus"(wispy curls) the history unfolds couched in way-up-high, pure aetherial tonefloat, with odd bold blares of Fioravanti's analogies, swathed in shower sand sundry susurrations of the lower earth and skies released from capture within his accomplices' arcane devices. There's a sense of holism across the album's six movements, though variations are clearly discernible. "Stratus"(blanket-like layers), for example, bears the characteristic medievo-gothic stamp of works in Musso's recent Castles sonorisation series - the familiar drones and loops and field recordings providing a subtly evolving canvas for trails of elegiac psaltery. While "Radiatus" (broad parallel bands converging towards the horizon) takes more from the airy/aqueous elementalism of Aglaia's Three Organic Experiences and Sacred Waters. "Nimbus"(generating precipitation) is serenity itself, albeit drenched. And "Perlucidus"(a layer with small spaces through which clear sky is visible) extends itself into 13+ minutes of free float, hanging oneirically in a light mist of treatments. At its more intimate, listening to the chronostatic electro-acoustic-glides inblue of Private History of the Clouds feels a little like watching dust particles in a room illuminated by light rays - variously filtered by alterations in shutter angles - now suspended almost immobile, now gently agitated by soft breeze.

In this first collaboration between Alio Die & Parallel Worlds, the unique sound achieved could be described as a hybrid sonic world, made out of bouncing electrons and air vibrations.
The modular machines of Parallel Worlds are merged with the acoustic instrumentation and drones of Alio Die, joined by the ethereal voice of the Polish vocalist/composer India Czajkowska, resulting in a surreal, yet down to earth, listening experience. The compositions, being, at times, minimal and calm and, at other times, full of mystical darkness and microsound elements, take the listener into a place were mental and physical boundaries have no need to exist.

Sylvi Alli is a Bay Area-based singer, musician, and composer whose style ranges widely from neo-folk to ambient to experimental; her focus and passion is exploring the boundaries of vocal expression. She works mainly as a solo artist, having recorded and produced four albums released by Vertical Pool, and has composed music for numerous film soundtracks, as well as for dance and theater. Alli has been a core member of ParaTheatrical ReSearch since 1997.

Amidst the Circling Spires is a captivating electro-ambient journey into an interior space, weaving visions of strong emotional impact. Sylvi's heavenly voice drifts within the highly processed acoustic sounds created by Alio Die: a hybrid between sonorous soundscapes and acoustic mysticism. The treated tones are an essential magma organic and animated luring the listener in like an ancestral call or an ancient saga. The loops, played with carillon, kalimba, zither, different objects and field recordings, blend into finely-detailed layered and treated. Sylvi's voice is intense and moving, evanescent and precise each song a mantra exploring a unique soundworld. Her vocals interact deeply with the melodies and atmosphere of Alio Die as they weave together like dark roots underground. The ecstatic and ritualistic landscapes that these artists offer shine with a magic all their own giving rise to a multiple array of meditations perfectly mixed with unique pathos and abstraction. "Amidst The Circling Spires" is absolutely triumphant collaboration of two artists, who are deeply dedicated to their artistic expressions, their unrestrained passion and unique fragrances make from this recording a truly gracious and majestic listening experience.

Adrenochrome is a natural compound found in the adrenal glands, that spikes at moments of fear or terror. Adrenochrome does have one medical use, as a form of it can be employed to staunch vascular bleeding. It’s not even hard to get, as it’s not illegal, and you can buy it in 25 or 250 mg doses to use in research. So is adrenochrome some kind of organic substitute for mescaline (Aldous Huxley)? If it is, drug users haven’t gotten mega-high from it. One anonymous user on the drug education site Erowid chronicled his experimentation with it, describing the effect as “very light and really uninteresting” and “not fun nor psychedelic in any way.” Another user said it gave them headaches for a week. Does any of this sound like a compound that wealthy elites would literally murder and eat children to obtain? A chemical that can easily be bought, does nothing psychoactive whatsoever, and might actually kill you? The compound has no footprint among drug users, and the rumored horrors perpetrated to obtain it are just that – rumors.
It seems far more likely that adrenochrome hysteria is based entirely on things people have heard, repeated without question, and never seen any proof of. In that, it’s a perfect fit for #QAnon.

At hand here are 3 great tracks on this unique (and rare) Richard H. Kirk and Steve Cobby coproduction as Citrus.

Deep Six's We're Going Deep is as underground as deep house gets. and its spectacular with its super punchy snare hit and simple deep layers. And of course the awesome guided hypnosis vocal....Its perfect. Go for the Piano Mix.. Deep Six are Aldo Hernandez, Ben Stiver, Carlos Santos, Steve Cobby. Deeptrance is wicked early deep house from the Murk stable, With the vocal sample "For the deeper you go, the better you feel. The better you feel, the deeper you go. Let Go!"

The Cutler is an electronica collaboration from Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire. Formed by Steve Cobby, formerly half of Fila Brazillia, and David 'Porky' Brennand, founder of Pork Recordings, they play electronica and Dub music. The Cutler is Steve Cobby and Porky , Cobby is a musician, composer, producer, and occasional DJ, he is also fifty percent of 'Fila Brazillia' (with David McSherry), fifty percent of 'Hey, Rube!' (with Stephen Mallinder), fifty percent of 'J*S*T*A*R*S' (with Sim Lister), one third of 'Heights of Abraham' (with Sim Lister and Jake Harries), and all of 'The Solid Doctor'. Porky is resident DJ at 'The Welly' in Hull with 'StopMakingSense' every Saturday night and mastermind of the revered 'Pork Recordings', a fiercely independent label specialising in 'electronica', and hugely important in the 'Downtempo' arena. Their self-titled debut album gained great praise from BBC Radio 1's Rob Da Bank stating that it was "Beautiful! Lovin' the Cutler. Ace to hear some proper downtempo music being made again". Mixmag, Straight No Chaser, NME and the Face are but a handful of publications that have featured and praised their music.

Their debut release came in 2007 – on the electronica label Steel Tiger Records (based in Hull/Sheffield and established by Cobby with Sim Lister in 2006) – with the single, Stiletto. A Cutler is a person who makes, sells, or repairs knives and other cutting instruments, no surprise then where all track titles stem from.

The Best Things in Life Aren't Things features two guest vocalists - Russell Morgan (Revolution) and Andrew Taylor (Pyramid of Power). Perhaps best known for his ability to write a catchy tune and perform it in a deft and touching style Andrew Taylor is also a composer of electro, ambient, funk, psych-folk some prog-meanderings and almost any other style you may care to think of. His first instrument was made from a cereal box, a kitchen roll-tube and some elastic bands; it is this home-made ethic that permeates much of his work, though he seems to nurture an ability to make the lo-fi sound wide, expansive and well a bit hi-fi! Extraordinary folk blues guitarist and songwriter Russell Morgan lives and writes in Cheshire, UK. Russell's sound is defined by his honey soaked growl, quirky writing style and a unique guitar approach. His voice and sound is a marriage of traditional acoustic folk, alternative rock and blues; close listening reveals echoes of John Martyn and Richie Havens.

On 11 June 2013, The Cutler were a front-page feature article on Bandcamp; the article's author is Andrew Jervis, the head curator at Bandcamp – he wrote, "The mojo is indeed back. Everything is Touching Everything Else is a varied album of songs and instrumentals loosely shepherded by Cobby and Porky, into a collection that is on par with the cream of the albums released on Pork Recordings. "Happenstance and spontaneity seem to guide us,” explains Cobby. Romulus and Remus sounds like Peaking Lights or Wild Belle rope-dope'd by a dose of gritty bottom end. Quite Rightly unfolds at a more leisurely place with pretty harps and floaty Hammond organ, while Namaste is a proper dubby bass bin smasher." The vocal harmonies of Archie Heslewood and Little Glitches warm up proceedings on Roll Those Laughing Bones and OFGB respectively."

RhoDeo 2023 America Before 2

NOTE ! From next week this post will switch places with the re-up page to create a better week flow, thus it will follow Sundaze from now on

What is Gateway Experience®

Mind Awakening program to help you achieve expanded awareness, and much more.

The Gateway Experience® In-Home Training Series is dedicated to developing, exploring and applying expanded states of awareness. Beginning with Discovery, there are seven "albums” called "Waves of Change.” Each Wave (3 CDs, 6 tracks) contains special Hemi-Sync® exercises designed to gently lead the listener into profound states of expanded awareness. While in such states, one has available a broader range of perceptions with which to solve problems, develop creativity or obtain guidance.

Each album is progressive in nature, building on the tools and techniques from the previous albums. Therefore, the albums must be used sequentially. The Gateway Experience Guidance Manuals, included with each Wave, prepare you for these exercises which help you to know and better understand your total self so you might enjoy a more fulfilling life.

What can you expect from the Gateway Experience?
"As much or as little as you put into it. Some discover themselves and thus live more completely, more constructively. Others reach levels of awareness so profound that one such experience is enough for a lifetime. Still others become seekers-after-truth and add an on-going adventure to their daily activity."

There is no emptiness in the Electric Universe.

According to a recent press release, astronomers are puzzled by the extent, as well as its lack of galaxies, in what is deemed the largest “void” yet discovered. The void is approximately 2 billion light-years in diameter, as astronomers measure distance, and it is within that cosmic bubble that the Milky Way galaxy is said to reside. The problem is, such a structure should not exist. The Keenan, Barger, Cowie (KBC) void contains far too little matter for its size.

The Universe is theorized to be a certain age. As the scientific consensus thinks, all matter and all energy came into being during the Big Bang. Based on its theoretical expansion rate, the Universe should create various formations at different times. The problem with the empty regions, like KBC, is that gravity has not had enough time to pull matter into bounded “bubbles” with empty centers.

About 15 years ago, astronomers discovered that remote galaxies seemed to indicate the Universe is expanding faster today than it did in the past. Such anomalous redshift observations threatened Big Bang cosmology, so the existence of “negative pressure” on gravitational fields was proposed. Negative gravity ideas flew in the face of most theories, so the accelerated expansion was later amended to “dark energy”, because it cannot be detected with any instrument, only inferred.

Instead of accepting that observational “anomalies” exist because the Big Bang theory is faulty, astronomers resort to theoretical addenda, such as the questionable idea that space can be pulled, twisted, or stretched. In a previous Picture of the Day, astrophysicists from the University of California were quoted as saying,

“The Universe is made mostly of dark matter and dark energy and we don’t know what either of them is.”

From the perspective of Electric Universe theory, it is electricity that drives galaxies and their associated stars. Laboratory experiments confirm that Birkeland current filaments form structures that resemble spiral galaxies. Birkeland currents have a longer-range attractive force than gravity by several orders of magnitude, diminishing with the square root of the distance from their current axes. That powerful electromagnetic attraction could also account for the movement of stars near the Milky Way’s core, as well as the acceleration of galaxies in deep space. Birkeland currents are the strongest long-range attractors in the Universe.

As physicist and Electric Universe pioneer, Hannes Alfvén said:

“I have never thought that you could obtain the extremely clumpy, heterogeneous universe we have today, strongly affected by plasma processes, from the smooth, homogeneous one of the Big Bang, dominated by gravitation.”

Stephen Smith

A team of scientists has observed an object which is again blurring the line between asteroids and comets. Scientists using the University of Hawaii’s ATLAS telescope have observed a cometary display from a type of asteroid known as a Jupiter Trojan asteroid. Dubbed 2019 LD2, it is the first such asteroid to date which has been seen sprouting a comet-like tail. In standard reasoning, such objects are not expected to have surface ice, which makes the comet-like outburst completely unexpected for conventional theorists. In this episode, we explain why the discovery is not unexpected at all from the perspective of the Electric Universe theory.

RhoDeo 2023 Re Up 242

Hello,

13 correct requests for this week , 1 double and 1 too early,  4 confused=people requesting at the wrong place, whatever another batch of 53 re-ups (16.5 gig)

These days i'm making an effort to re-up, it will satisfy a smaller number of people which means its likely the update will  expire relatively quickly again as its interest that keeps it live. Sundaze 2023

Hello, as riots have become demonstrations all over the US and the Western world, clearly there's more going on then the cynical police murder of a black man, this ugly face of racism opened the eyes of other minorities be them Latino's, Asians, Muslims, Jews. Coupled with the huge financial uncertainty millions face specially in the US as unemployment=poverty looms in the wake of the Corona epidemic. The people understand that the only way we can get through this is through solidarity, and all this during a time the US and UK are run by (far)rightwing leadership who's modus operandi has been divide and rule, countries too that show a high death toll from the virus. For months the people have seen that the country was kept going by the socalled little people, the nurses, the shop assistants, lorry drivers, food couriers, the cleaners, without them society would have collapsed. Western society is at a crossroads will we acknowledge every human having the right to earn a living wage will we condemn those that exploit others, will we understand that most billionaires have sold their soul and lead empty lives, even though rightwing media do everything to glamorize it. There's much to overcome but never before have circumstances been more favorable to create a new world.

Today's Artist is Stefano Musso who began recording music under the pseudonym of Alio Die in 1989. "Alio Die" is Latin for "another day", used as a greeting in Roman times as a positive look towards a better tomorrow......N'Joy

There are two distinct types of Alio Die albums: the album length drone works and the albums  comprised of short tracks, often culled from compilations and various  other appearances. Alio Die has a strong back catalog of highly original  work; these ambient records have served as touchstones for newer artists like Oöphoi and Amon to continue in a rich environmental ambient vein. An Alio Die Cd is always a pagan ritual with the odor of dirt and moisture in the air. The newest offering to arcane gods, "Il tempo magico di Saturnia Pavonia" is not easy to put in the album length drone or collection of short tracks categories. The Cd has ten distinctive tracks, but with a definite flow of purpose and design that past track collections like "Leaves net" have not quite successfully achieved. We begin with "A gift" which is a composition of whistles and highly processed accordion - immediately the recycling projects of Vidna Obmana, for example "Landscape in obscurity", come to mind. Gradually the accordion tones build up to form a harmonic mass of sound, rapturous in tone. Pretty good for an accordion! The next two tracks launch right into traditional Alio Die territory - repeated "melodies" featuring processed traditional instruments alongside rich organic drones. This is what we've come to expect and love in an Alio Die Cd. If I had a main criticism of this particular disc, it would be that the most tracks rely on too much Alio Die by numbers; similarly building trance tracks that we've heard since "Under an holy ritual" debuted. Alio Die has mastered this type of composition - not to mention the fact that the types of tracks he does are unmistakeably Alio Die - so this can hardly be a strong criticism. There are not nearly enough Alio Die discs to be tired of the style yet. The attention to mystic tone is so deep that it is hard to not be entranced even with minor stylistic tweaks to the Alio Die-style proper. A standout track is "Fragile-struggente," which is a very simple mixture of melancholy synth loop accompanied by the sound of a lemon peel burning on a stove (according to the liner notes). It's a gorgeous little piece, with incidental noises and creaks that remind me of Ora. It's tracks like this that have beguiled me with Alio Die from the start. A simple setup leads to pure ambient ritualism. A still later track, "Still here!" reminds us that past drone albums are not far off - I would not be surprised if this were an outtake from "Incantamento". I have always imagined Stefano Musso as some crazy Italian guy making ambient records out in the middle of nowhere. Sure, he's got an email address, but who's to say this isn't some strange sham? Whenever I pop in the Alio Die album of choice, it's not idle soundscaping with strange noises, it's not a journey into deep, dark space like so many other ambient releases fine and not so fine. This is the sound of a man with wild hair performing a magickal-with-a-'k' ritual on the top of a mountain amidst blowing crosswinds. As we all well know, black magic is not performed without consequences - Musso has tapped into some leyline of arcane energy, and it's seeped into the music.

The issue of his most powerful album is contentious, but Aura Seminalis, released in 2008, is arguably his most magical. Sitting at odds with the rest of his discography, which focuses on the mystery and wonder of nature and life, Aura Seminalis is a much more religious, desperate and moving affair: painting an image of a lonely man in an old, empty hall, surrounded by god.

That’s pretty ambiguous, right? But it sounds good, which is pretty much as close an explanation as you can give for Aura Seminalis. Split into two separate tracks, the first, titled “Sine Tempore” (or “Without Time”), centres around plenty of short, soft drones overlapping and blending into each other. While fairly minimal, it’s constantly changing nature keeps it busy as we hear little flickers of melodies pierce through the soundscape. Alio Die adds a fairly metallic ring to his foreground, and juxtaposed next to the flatter, deeper backdrop it creates a strong sense of space that, along with the echoes and EQ, feels as if it fills a Cathedral-sized void. “Sine Tempore” is completed as a perfectly frail vocal chant (or at least horns distorted to sound like voices) is heard amongst the unravelling of the drones around it. Comparatively solid in such a liquid environment, the sense of isolation and loss is palpable; and in its quiet way “Sine Tempore” becomes incredibly beautiful. “Part II” takes the track to a darker, more fearful edge, truly echoing the medieval-Christianity strain of religious fear yet oddly more peaceful as the vocals and drones begin to entwine into chords. The vocals take a more prominent role here, too, but wind down entirely for “Part III”, which sees the piece slide gently to standstill in a simple and deconstructed (and deconsecrated and pure) manner.

The solely instrumental title track may not be as hard-hitting as “Sine Tempore”, but it fortifies itself with a wealth of subtle tweaks and shifts. Leading on from the less-structured “Part III”, it exhibits more of a classic, 70’s ambient approach while still carrying Alio Die’s masterful use of texture and depth. As opposed to the first track, however, “Aura Seminalis” is also rather withdrawn and contemplative: a piece less concerned with living the moment but more so reflecting it. As such the drones are more drawn out, with only gentle and quiet splatters of more solid, rasping tones on top to build up the mood. Despite this less urgent and head-strong approach, the track still manages to bleed the same kind of warm and sorrowful whimper as the first, although in a much more general and somewhat less focussed way.

Alio Die’s Aura Seminalis is an absolutely outstanding display of unique, emotional and finely crafted ambient music. With its heavily spiritual tones it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to liken the album to a full-on religious experience, and as it is the quality doesn’t sit too far from perfection. The obvious piety makes the album feel very old indeed, and as such it becomes quite timeless. A mainstay in his epic discography, and an album well-worth visiting for any soul who wants to feel small in the presence of something truly glorious.

"Horas Tibi Serenas" is the third chapter of the series "Castles sonorisation", bearing the signature of Alio Die, an oratory of digits collected and highly evocative, upon reflection addressed to the sense of the sacred that saturates every aspect of earthly things. The instrumental texture is the result of a suffused handwriting, entrusted with the use of drones, loops and sounds found, which recreates the atmosphere of the liturgical poem in three long suites rarefied and minimal, just by lapping noises echo in the distance andattendance just transmusicali palpable. A granted to souls who crowd in a chorus of sounds wavering and circulars, designed to propitiate the harmony of the cosmos and with itthe opus of inner stillness.

Alio Die's, Deconsecrated And Pure, starts with the 16-minute "Layers Οf Faith", a New Age requiem which dissolves into emissions, and then the emissions further dissolve into pure atmosphere: floating, drifting, flying, essentially becoming the atmosphere. This isn't ethereal, it is the aether itself. This superb meditation is heaven incarnate and one of the best works of the genre since Steve Roach's Structures From Silence. The 12-minute "Obliterated Alcove" distills this sound into a more dense mass hanging in space, driven by a magical weave of droning harmonies and angelic whispers, before the track lowers altitude to meet a nebulae of clanging bells and eerie hymnals, which abstract further to turn to a ghostly glow that engulfs everything.

The 9-minute "Peel Away This Mortal Coil" feels more tangible at first, but actually returns to the motto of the first track. It's more palpable structure evaporates into abstraction, losing itself in it, before what is already an elusive atmosphere dissolves further in a grander fluorescent environment. By the 10-minute "Cerulean Facade", the musical fog appears to clear from what been an otherwordly journey so far. However, things remained elusive by the 18-minute "De-altared", it's hallucinogenic ambiance taking a very long time to reach a poignant feel that lost sight of the first three tracks' nirvana, settling instead for a more mundane drug-addled perceptive enhancement.
