Adrenochrome is a natural compound found in the adrenal glands, that spikes at moments of fear or terror. Adrenochrome does have one medical use, as a form of it can be employed to staunch vascular bleeding. It’s not even hard to get, as it’s not illegal, and you can buy it in 25 or 250 mg doses to use in research. So is adrenochrome some kind of organic substitute for mescaline (Aldous Huxley)? If it is, drug users haven’t gotten mega-high from it. One anonymous user on the drug education site Erowid chronicled his experimentation with it, describing the effect as “very light and really uninteresting” and “not fun nor psychedelic in any way.” Another user said it gave them headaches for a week. Does any of this sound like a compound that wealthy elites would literally murder and eat children to obtain? A chemical that can easily be bought, does nothing psychoactive whatsoever, and might actually kill you? The compound has no footprint among drug users, and the rumored horrors perpetrated to obtain it are just that – rumors.
It seems far more likely that adrenochrome hysteria is based entirely on things people have heard, repeated without question, and never seen any proof of. In that, it’s a perfect fit for #QAnon.
At hand here are 3 great tracks on this unique (and rare) Richard H. Kirk and Steve Cobby coproduction as Citrus.
Deep Six's We're Going Deep is as underground as deep house gets. and its spectacular with its super punchy snare hit and simple deep layers. And of course the awesome guided hypnosis vocal....Its perfect. Go for the Piano Mix.. Deep Six are Aldo Hernandez, Ben Stiver, Carlos Santos, Steve Cobby. Deeptrance is wicked early deep house from the Murk stable, With the vocal sample "For the deeper you go, the better you feel. The better you feel, the deeper you go. Let Go!"

The Cutler is an electronica collaboration from Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire. Formed by Steve Cobby, formerly half of Fila Brazillia, and David 'Porky' Brennand, founder of Pork Recordings, they play electronica and Dub music. The Cutler is Steve Cobby and Porky , Cobby is a musician, composer, producer, and occasional DJ, he is also fifty percent of 'Fila Brazillia' (with David McSherry), fifty percent of 'Hey, Rube!' (with Stephen Mallinder), fifty percent of 'J*S*T*A*R*S' (with Sim Lister), one third of 'Heights of Abraham' (with Sim Lister and Jake Harries), and all of 'The Solid Doctor'. Porky is resident DJ at 'The Welly' in Hull with 'StopMakingSense' every Saturday night and mastermind of the revered 'Pork Recordings', a fiercely independent label specialising in 'electronica', and hugely important in the 'Downtempo' arena. Their self-titled debut album gained great praise from BBC Radio 1's Rob Da Bank stating that it was "Beautiful! Lovin' the Cutler. Ace to hear some proper downtempo music being made again". Mixmag, Straight No Chaser, NME and the Face are but a handful of publications that have featured and praised their music.
Their debut release came in 2007 – on the electronica label Steel Tiger Records (based in Hull/Sheffield and established by Cobby with Sim Lister in 2006) – with the single, Stiletto. A Cutler is a person who makes, sells, or repairs knives and other cutting instruments, no surprise then where all track titles stem from.

The Best Things in Life Aren't Things features two guest vocalists - Russell Morgan (Revolution) and Andrew Taylor (Pyramid of Power). Perhaps best known for his ability to write a catchy tune and perform it in a deft and touching style Andrew Taylor is also a composer of electro, ambient, funk, psych-folk some prog-meanderings and almost any other style you may care to think of. His first instrument was made from a cereal box, a kitchen roll-tube and some elastic bands; it is this home-made ethic that permeates much of his work, though he seems to nurture an ability to make the lo-fi sound wide, expansive and well a bit hi-fi! Extraordinary folk blues guitarist and songwriter Russell Morgan lives and writes in Cheshire, UK. Russell's sound is defined by his honey soaked growl, quirky writing style and a unique guitar approach. His voice and sound is a marriage of traditional acoustic folk, alternative rock and blues; close listening reveals echoes of John Martyn and Richie Havens.
