Hello, as we entered the meteorological winter today thoughts of warm bath in the sun is far away, those fortunate enough to have a tub have at least the possibility to have a bathdaze, meanwhile over here we'll continue to offer you the ideal soundscape for a relaxed sunday, in the sun, in the bath or wherever you'll find yourself in comfort. Now it could be said that Psychic TV isn't known for it's smooth style, far from it. Yet they certainly do have their moments and i hope you'll find today's contemplative works enriching...N'joy

In 1998 P-Orridge announced that he primarily wanted to move into spoken word, which is when Campagna left the band to pursue his own projects, and turned to focus on Thee Majesty with musical lineup of Larry Thrasher and Bryin Dall. Thee Majesty continues to perform to large halls and galleries in Europe playing improvised sound sculpture to mostly improvised spoken word. A final disconcert was announced and held at the Royal Festival Hall, London in May 1999...
The show was called "Time's Up" which was also the name of the new project's debut CD, released on the same date by Dall's label The Order of the Suffering Clown via World Serpent Distribution. Since then, Thee Majesty has remained an intermittent project, only playing sporadic festivals, art events, and intimate venues in Europe and the US, and releasing very few original studio albums. In 2009 Thee Majesty played a critically acclaimed show expounding on a transgender creation story theme at the Centre Pompidou with P-Orridge, Thrasher, Dall and Edley in the lineup.
With encouragement from drummer Eddie O'Dowd (Toilet Boys), Genesis reformed Psychic TV with an all new lineup, returning to the stage in 2003 with a concert in New York under the guise of PTV3. The concert featured video projections by Sam Zimmerman (Crash Worship). In September 2004, an extensive tour of Europe (covering 16 countries) and North America was launched. 2005 saw the band return to the studio, recording their first album in over 10 years (P-Orridge also spent 2005 working with Throbbing Gristle on their first album in over 25 years). Additionally, a few more dates were performed in Europe throughout the year. In January 2006, the new PTV album was announced by P-Orridge on his website. Hell is Invisible...Heaven is Her/E,
Lady Jaye died suddenly on 9 October 2007 at home in Brooklyn, New York, from a previously undiagnosed heart condition which is thought to have been connected with her long-term battle with stomach cancer. Lady Jaye collapsed and died in the arms of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge.
The two had previously embarked on a years-long pursuit of pandrogyny, undergoing painful plastic surgery procedures in order to become gender-neutral human beings that looked like each other.
"We started out, because we were so crazy in love, just wanting to eat each other up, to become each other and become one. And as we did that, we started to see that it was affecting us in ways that we didn't expect. Really, we were just two parts of one whole; the pandrogyne was the whole and we were each other's other half."
Psychic TV's current incarnation, PTV3, has recently released the new CD/DVD set, Mr. Alien Brain vs. The Skinwalkers. The album, which was released on 9 December 2008, was the first full length release since the death of Genesis' "other half," Jaye Breyer Psychic TV have performed countless times in their live career with an ever-changing and eclectic selection of musicians. Live releases account for about half of Psychic TV's discography and with one series of live releases they released fourteen live albums in eighteen months, enough to earn them a record in the Guinness Book of World Records.
On 4 November 2009, Genesis P-Orridge announced via his website, "Genesis Breyer P-Orridge is retiring from touring in any and all bands including TG to concentrate on art, writing and music."

This second in a series of ritualistic music offers another dose of instrumental music that veers to the more experimental and varied side of Psychic TV, though in some ways it is also quite different from Themes. Whereas the first album consisted of ethno-forgeries on mostly acoustic instruments like clarinet, piano, bicycle wheel, and Tibetan human thighbones, Themes, Vol. 2 adds in far more technology, from tape loops to feedback. Much of the music on this album was composed for videos by experimental filmmaker Derek Jarmen. The album opens with "Loops of the Mystical Union," inspired by early 20th century classical avant-garde composer Alexander Scriabin. This fascinating track uses a loop from one of his orchestral works to create a long drone while squalls of guitar (violin?) feedback ripple through, and towards the end the feedback hits with buzz-saw intensity. Following this extreme the record goes into a completely different mood with "Elipse of Flowers," a relaxed, melancholic piece with guitar, chimes, and a slow primitive drumbeat. The piece ends on a disturbing note with a loop of some creepy mutated laughter, and the same loop continues on side two of the LP to create the base of a sinister soundtrack. Eventually the evil laughter becomes more distorted by echo effects and then this is replaced by looped chanting that becomes a bed over which an unidentifiable wind instrument and other strange sounds can be heard. This dark record is one of Psychic TV's more adventuresome offerings, and the CD even extends the tracks and adds a wealth of newer material.

The album is named after the mythical figure, Kondole, from an aboriginal creation myth from the peoples of Encounter Bay, Southern Australia.
"Thee music for Kondole was written before either ov thee two films, for which it has becoum a soundtrack, were made. Thee first part is modelled around aboriginal rhythms and instruments. Thee second part is our first full exploration of true beat. Both sections use natural sounds processed as well as instrumentation."
"For over forty years, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge has been weaving his spells throughout popular culture, but his art will probably only receive fair judgement posthumously because of the wild and (intentionally) distorted image he’s built for himself. But what could be more beautiful that such a sustaining & chronic radical as Gen could have provided us all – in the form of Kondole – with a piece of truly necessary everyday listening, without repeated listening to such epic instrumental sagas as Kondole, our aging brains will eventually seize up & petrify." "Thee text ov 'A Hollow Cost' began as a spoken word (world) routine in 1979 in England and has gone through many permutations and infestations since that T.I.M.E. For a long T.I.M.E. thee writing was referred to as "Thee Throttle" and was first published as such in RADIUM 226.05 Magazine, Stockholm, Sweden in their Spring 1986 issue. Another, expanded version was published in thee first and subsequent editions ov 'Esoterrorist', an anthology of texts and collages by Genesis Breyer P-Orridge edited by Tom Hallewell in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. in 1989. Since then it has been uploaded on countless websites unofficially. This CD re-release is thee only official artifact and has been digitally re-mastered under thee supervision ov thee author. Accept no substitutes or previous copies ov this remarkable recording. Let thee invisible remain invisible and support thee writer and musicians ov Thee Majesty and this ongoing series ov unique, radically hybridized and influential spoken worlds."

Back to the beginning..
“Dreams Less Sweet” plays like an experimental audio ritual. So many elements come together to make up the whole of the album it is almost dizzying. There are traditional classical instruments in some places, home-made instruments in others and found sounds to round out the balance. Recorded in holophonic sound, the finished product is best absorbed through a good set of headphones to fully experience this musical world as it shifts and moves around you.
