Hello, we're still on that island with a huge place in the global music catalogue, Jamaica. A production hothouse and they say the Weed makes you slow and lazy-go figure. Without the ganja driven reggae music Jamaica would have remained a Caribbean backwater and dare i say would never have given us Bolt, the fastest man in the world.
Can't get enough of that dub music ? Planning a reggae party ? ... Last week it was Volume 1 & 3 and because there was plenty of 'party people' this week it's Vol 2 & 4 .

Pressure Sounds began as a subsidiary of Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound label run by Pete Holdsworth. Now it is it's own self-supporting entity. It's primary purpose is to restore, re-master, compile, and re-issue classic reggae tracks along with an in depth story of the artist. However it is not completely a re-issue label. Some of the releases are from master recordings thought to be long lost and forgotten about.
