"Just A Goddamn Piece of Paper"

Iraqi Freedom
We now know that fraud on the part of the Bush administration launched the ill-fated Iraqi war. The war's financial and human cost of the war to date is $337 billion, with steep future costs for veterans' care and replacement of military equipment. Approximately 3,000 US troops have been killed, and Department of Veterans Affairs documents show that 100,000 veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan have been granted disability compensation. Estimates of Iraqi civilian "collateral damage" range from 30,000 to 655,000 deaths. America's reputation has been shattered, and the prospects for terrorist "blow-back" are higher. Meanwhile the US is transforming into a fascist state , the constitution ? Just a goddamn piece of paper (bush quote).

10-10 Falcon Base destruction, unofficially 300+ dead, officially...it didnt happen.. but here's the video shot by soldiers from about a mile (safe)distance 9 minutes Falcon base blow out

More US government and the complicit (in bed with) big media cover up, even google constantly resets the viewing numbers of this one, to prevent it from getting the limelight it deserves, watch Terror Storm Since 31-10 it has been released on DVD, at the moment 3-11, already ranked 18th in amazon sales, 5 star ratings...Buy Terror Storm @ Amazon

Nov 7th Diebold Day
So now there's another round of voting coming up, after the 2000 and 2004 presidential vote fraud, the congress gets a full taste of what those Diebold machines can do. 80% of americans will use these pieces of technology- fully enabled fraud voting systems- which not a single independent body — nobody, none, zero…no computer scientist, security expert or federal, state or local election official or organization — is allowed to test Diebolds voting systems in full. The same is true for the systems of every other voting machine company in America.

The only federal testing of these systems is done by the so-called "Independent Testing Authority" (ITA), a consortium of three private corporations chosen and paid for by the voting machine companies themselves. The ITAs test only what their client Voting Machine Companies tell them to test. They do so in secret and without releasing the results of their limited testing publicly. Democracy at work , right - However, this technology should be a seller to any country run by despots .

So what will happen, the media will no doubt follow some loudmouths screaming fraud, specially in the republican camp they seem to think yelling fraud will distract from their devious actions, the democrats seem to be a bunch of stranded whales having lost all sense of direction. America is in dire need of more political parties, a reform of a system that benefits those that whore for money the best, that's very different from serving the public interest. But who's going to tell them, do they even understand anything else then selfishness ?

But first...chaos, the collapse of the economy, the gigantic dollarfraud used to pump up wallstreet, misery for millions , a wall to keep mexicans out , more to keep americans in i'd say, the future looks bleak for the USA.

^^^
Politics, i recently read at a musicblog, that's a nono, now i find that shocking , it makes you wonder how shallow current musiclovers must be and they certainly don't know much about music, because it has always played a role in resisting the powers that be in their drive for greater control or at least the status quo. Rebels from Mozart to Johnny Rotten, from Elvis to...... yes some silence here as i am thinking who in 2006 might fit that bill. I know there are plenty but a big name ? It looks like the music marketing industry has a firm grip on what artists get airplay, what messages are conveyed, sure lowlife attitudes are promoted in the rap business, but artists with a message ...? They seem to be cornered and labelled 'intellectual' stuff. Collectivism seems only applicable in the rave/trance scene, but infested with drugs as that is, it shows the negative/escapist side of collectivism, not the mutual responsibility we have for life on this planet. So where are the voices that lead us to this better world we supposedly would like to live in.

^^^

I've chosen 4 rather different albums for download but still politicized in conveying a message, it's as allways up to the reciever whether he or she is willing to transcode it into something that suits his/her worldview. Its in that light that i added the covers album because it to me shows what extraordinary results can come from our human capacity to reshape.

Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, followed his acclaimed 2001 movie, Kubrick '71 vision of the near future, based on Anthony Burgess's famous novel is a dark, satirical social commentary, a masterpiece where doped milk, gang violence and rape aswell as cynical and glib politics reigned ...

Malcolm McDowell delivers a clever, tongue-in-cheek performance as Alex, the leader of a quartet of droogs, a vicious group of young hoodlums who spend their nights stealing cars, fighting rival gangs, breaking into people's homes, and raping women. A Clockwork Orange works on many levels--visual, aural (as established by the download) social, political, and sexual--it is one of the few films that hold up under repeated viewings. Kubrick stylizes the film by utilizing classical music (and Wendy Carlos's electronic classical work) to underscore the violent scenes, which even today are disturbing in their display of sheer nihilism. Ironically, many fans of the film have missed that point, sadly being entertained by its brutality rather than being repulsed by it

A ClockWorkOrange - Soundtrack - This download is basicly a radioplay and testament to the quality of Kubricks movie. For those like me who have seen the movie(several times) the images pop up automatically but i dare say for those that haven't, it still is an entertaining 82 minutes.

Kinesis - Handshakes for Bullets

NME described this band as `the perfect rock band' and on listening to this debut album you can hear why.An out of control roller coaster ride of original tracks that have the feel of established rock giants like The Strokes, Muse and Wheatus. Michael Bromley growls darkly political biting lyrics over the original and yet memory evoking guitar riffs of Conor McGloin, the result being an urgent storm that presses onwards.Their second album "You Are Being Lied To" was released in June 2005 on the indie label, 'Captains Of Industry'. The album was recorded and produced by the band themselves on an extremely small budget, the band decided to announce that they were splitting up on the day that the album was released, you can download a 64k version at their Captains of industry label here

Suicide - American Supreme

This is suicide's fifth studio album after ten years. And like many artists the duo couldn't help but be influenced by September 11th. Tracks include 'Televised Executions', 'Swearin' Too The Flag' & 'Child, It's A New World.' 2002.
A comment; "If the streets of the world had a soundtrack, this would be it. The music and vocals are very hypnotic. I keep envisioning blood flowing through the veins of civilization as I listen to this. The words are like cells full of truth. I don't find this dark...it just tells it like it is during these strange days on earth."

a late seasonal extra

David Bowie - All Saints
This album demonstrates David Bowie's pioneering use of synthesizers and ambient soundscapes. Most of these compositions were made in collaboration with Brian Eno and display a unique combination of lush beauty, harsh experimentation and cinematic intensity. These compositions are highly visual and adventurous, the closing piece ("Some Are" from Philip Glass's "Low Symphony") is particularly cinematic. To sum up, "All Saints" is a must have for David Bowie fans and for fans of instrumental/ambient music.
